All Kindermusik studios are operated by Independent Kindermusik Business Owners.


At Kindermusik, all full-time employees are put on a path to become an Employee Owner and enter into an Employee Stock Option Pool (ESOP). Part of becoming an Employee Owner means you support our mission, vision, and values, and are willing to harness your entrepreneurial spirit to maximize Kindermusik's resources in the best interests of our customers. To earn an ESOP "year of service," you must work at least 1000 hours in a plan year. Employee Owners become fully vested after three years of service.

No, we provide the music, books, activities, etc. Studios that offer Kindermusik curricula are typically small, privately owned businesses. We also provide kits to schools and other early learning environments.

We do! Currently, about half of Kindermusik International employees are fully remote. We rely on Slack for day-to-day communication and regularly use virtual meeting tools like Zoom.

Yes, we offer competitive paid time off (PTO), full benefit package options, and employee stock ownership. We also close for all major US holidays and offer floating holidays in addition to standard vacation.
